Yes. I specialize in mathematics and provide tutoring specifically for the ACT Math section. If you're satisfied with your other ACT scores and only want help improving Math, you don't need to enroll in tutoring for the other sections.
Can you help if I've already taken the ACT?
Yes. In fact, a previous ACT score can give us a useful starting point. If Math is lower than your other section scores—or simply lower than you would like—we can focus specifically on improving your ACT Math performance.

How does the ACT Math diagnostic work?
The diagnostic is completed online using a sample ACT Math test. In addition to seeing which questions you answer correctly and incorrectly, I can review how much time you spend on individual questions.
This helps me identify both math skills that may need strengthening and problem types that may be taking too much time. I can then use that information to help develop a more targeted tutoring and practice plan.
Can you help with ACT Math pacing?
Yes. Pacing problems are not always caused by a lack of math knowledge. A student may understand how to solve a problem but use a method that takes too much time.
By reviewing timing information from the online diagnostic, we can identify questions and problem types that may be slowing the student down and work on more efficient approaches.
Is ACT Math tutoring available online?
Yes. ACT Math tutoring is offered online, so students can work with me from home regardless of where they live. Online tutoring also makes it easy to combine one-on-one instruction with the student's ACT Math diagnostic results and targeted skills practice.
Do you provide ACT Math practice between tutoring sessions?
Yes. I can provide targeted ACT Math skills practice based on the areas identified through the diagnostic and our tutoring sessions. This allows students to practice specific skills that need improvement rather than spending unnecessary time reviewing topics they have already mastered.
We can use the results of that practice to determine what needs additional attention during tutoring.
Can ACT Math tutoring help students at different score levels?
Yes. The areas that need attention can be very different for a student scoring in the low 20s compared with a student already scoring in the 30s. Some students may need to strengthen several underlying math skills, while others may need highly targeted work on a smaller number of topics, difficult problem types, or pacing.
